The Better Care Better Jobs Act | Sharing Our Stories with Be A Hero | Take Action!

Little Lobbyists is proud to partner with Be A Hero to amplify our families' stories and advocate for the care we need and deserve. People with complex medical needs and disabilities, like Be A Hero’s founder Ady Barkan and our Little Lobbyists kids, need home and community based services (HCBS), like home nursing and direct support professionals, to live at home with their families where they belong – NOT in deadly institutions.

Unfortunately, there’s not enough funding for everyone who needs home care, and hundreds of thousands of people are on years-long waiting lists for the critical care they need to survive and thrive. That’s why Congress MUST pass full funding for the Better Care Better Jobs Act, an historic investment in caregiving that would improve – and save – millions of American lives now and in the future.
